Pretty Beach House, hidden away in the Bouddi National Park, is Sydney’s go-to hideaway. With just four private suites (two with plunge pools), you’ll still feel like you have the place to yourself, only sharing the stunning common areas and restaurant at meal times with equally fabulous guests. Or go midweek and you might luck out and have the place all to yourself.

SLEEP IN STYLE
All pavilions house a generous king bedroom, separate dressing room, deluxe bathroom with heated flooring, open-plan sitting area, outdoor double day-bed and a fully stocked premium mini bar. Interiors and bespoke soft furnishings are inspired by the colours and textures of the natural surrounding wilderness of the Bouddi National Park.
I loved my suite – Treetops, it’s set high up on top of the main residence, this pavilion is in the penthouse position. This luxurious one bedroom pavilion is complete with a king size bed and stunning views into the treetops and down to the bay from the private balcony, complete with double day-bed & outdoor fireplace. There is a large walk through robe and luxurious travertine bathroom complete with large copper bath & heated flooring. It felt so cosy and relaxed, these rooms were made for hiding away in!
YOU WON’T GO HUNGRY
The daily menus at Pretty Beach House offer seasonal, Italian inspired cuisine that is often locally sourced or straight from their kitchen & herb gardens. Menus are prepared based on the finest and freshest produce available creating delicious daily menu selections. Menus may also be tailored to suit specific dietary needs and requirements – I even asked them to prepare their famous Gnocchi with Burnt Butter and Sage for lunch one day and voila, it appeared and it was so good I had it twice!

Do make sure you pre-book a spa treatment, pure Australian botanical products from the LI’TYA range are featured in their spa and they are beautiful. I also happened to have one of the best massage treatments I’ve ever had right here, the Rhythmic Kodo.
Rates are all-inclusive – all dining food, open bar with premium wine and spirits (cellar list additional), in pavilion mini bar, Indigenous smoking ceremony with canapés + cocktails, WiFi and mountain biking included.
Pretty Beach House is a fabulous mid-week or weekend Aussie escape, but book in advance, it’s a secret amongst high-flying *luxurians who know a good thing when they are onto it, and aren’t too keen to share their hidden gem.
