It all Happend in the Hamptons!
My latest addiction is LE LABO scented candles, these arrive today from the UK (I ordered them online – shipped to my door in 7 days). These hand poured candles are compounded in the United States and not only look fabulous but smell divine too! And don’t be surprised when they burn black, they are meant too, this is caused by the superior wax blends LE LABO use in all of their scented candles. When you order online you can also have your name or address printed on them. Tres Chic!
I first discovered these chic scented candles whilst in Sag Harbor at an interiors store on Main Street called WellNEST.
Those three days in the Hamptons were also spent discovering many fabulous shops like this one and also wining and dining at places like Tutto il Giorno owned by Gabby Karan, the daughter of Donna Karan and yes…. Christie Brinkley was seated at the table next to us and yes she looked fabulous…you get the idea (love a little Hamptons glamour!).
A big thank you to the fabulous Zoe Hoare who looked after us like superstars. Zoe is the “girl to go to” for all things Hamptons and her partner Chris Meade’s store, English Country Antiques is another store not to be missed.
I spent a fabulous afternoon relaxing with friends from London & Sydney at Zoe and Chris’ idyllic Sagaponack house. It’s a renovated classic saltbox cottage decorated in Zoe’s relaxed, chic style (their house was featured in Vogue Living November / December 2011) and this I have to tell you was the highlight of my stay in the Hamptons , thank you Zoe!
So I shall light my candles tonight and dream of the Hamptons!
